Ask for this in writing
- Exact engine code and application
- New parts fitted as standard
- Machining and measurements performed
- Whether the cylinder head, crankshaft and block are pressure-tested or measured
- Whether turbo, injectors, pumps and timing parts are included
- Warranty duration, mileage and exclusions
- Core surcharge and return conditions
- Delivery, fitting, fluids, coding and VAT
Evidence after installation
Keep the invoice, engine serial/code evidence, initial oil-pressure result, injector reports, installation checklist and service requirements. These documents are essential if a warranty question develops.
